Family Portrait Mini Sessions in Bath

Summer Session: Sunday 21th June 2026 @ the Archery Field, Weston BA1

Autumn Session: 04th October 2026 in the Botanical Gardens

 

It is not only children who grow so quickly and therefore change the face of a family all the time. Everybody gets older, we all change. Therefore it is invaluable to capture family moments. Family portraits can include babies, children, parents, uncles, grandparents, in-laws or godparents. This year I am doing the summer mini family sessions at The Archery Field on Weston Park and the autumn session in the Botanical Gardens – both are locations I have tried and tested many times. These sessions are short and sweet – just like your kid’s attention span.

Who are the sessions for?

The mini family sessions are for any families that want to update their photos or are looking for a nice Christmas gift for the grandparents.

How long are the sessions?

Each session is 30 minutes long and the idea is to work with the children’s limited attention span. By using a photogenic location that I know well, we can quickly get a variety of wonderful family pictures of you guys together and individually.

Each Session includes:

25-30 edited images which will be delivered to you via a secure online gallery.

Oh Betty, these are absolutely gorgeous!  Thank you so much for editing them so quickly. Betty has done two family photos shoots for us over the last few years, one of them during Covid restrictions which she planned very professionally. She manages to capture the essence of ‘family’ in her work and always has creative ways to get the best use of her time with you, which is always fun and lively! I would thoroughly recommend Betty!

I’m so pleased with the wonderful photos that Betty took of my daughter. This was an 18th birthday present from September and we went to Alexandra park to take photos of the beautiful autumn colours. It was all socially distanced so worked well. Betty really got to know Jessie as a young person and that came out in the photos. We managed a couple of clothes changes too all in 2 hours.

Betty has done 2 family photo shoots for us over the last 2 years and we have been extremely happy with the results each time. She is very friendly and managed to put my children at ease to get some lovely shots of them.
