I don’t think I have been to another wedding that was decorated with as much love as this one! Test tubes with lavender in them hanging of trees. Freshly picked wild flowers in glass jars on the tables as well as for the bride and bridesmaids. Hundreds of meters of colourful bunting around the marque and garden. Just beautiful!
Amy and James celebrated at Greenway Farm in Bridgewater, a farm with a beautiful barn for the wedding ceremonies and a big marque to celebrate. They also rear their own pigs, one of which was spit-roasted for the wedding guests. Amy and her three bridesmaids got ready in a B&B nearby. I was particularly intrigued by the multiway dresses from InIneClothing. It’s one style of dress that you can wrap in multiple ways and are therefore ideal for bridesmaids.
Initially Amy and James had planned their ceremony to take place outside but it was almost 30 degrees Celsius outside so they opted for the shaded and cooler barn. A fun and very natural humanist ceremony was followed by drinks and games in the garden. And they even had a special guest joining their speeches: the cousin joined via Skype all the way from California! Enjoy the photographs.
