Albums & Smaller Parent Copies

Why should you have an album?

Because it’s the best way to enjoy your photographs and show them to others!

You hired me to photograph your wedding because you wanted to document the day. You can use them for your thank you cards, to create framed prints for your home and to create an album that tells the story of the day. A high quality album is not only a nice way to show your pictures to your friends, it is also a way to preserve them.

Quality materials and workmanship.

I have my albums made by a company called Folio Albums who are based in the UK and their ink and paper quality is second to none. Due to their high quality papers and inks, they gurantee that the images will not fade or yellow (if stored correctly).

Telly the story of the day.

An album is different to a print as it tells the story of the day!

Photographs that get left on a hard drive, quickly get forgotten about!

Let’s face it, we are all guilty of having photographs on our hard drives that we aim to print and never get round do doing so.

Then send me an email and we can get the album process started.

What is the process and how can I order my album?

The process is really simple:

  • The first step is to log into your client gallery where you can view all of your wedding photos.
  • Now to the hard part: the image selection. Depending on the number or pages/spreads of your album, you will need to select a certain amount of photographs. Or alternatively select your favourites and I will give you a quote for the number of pages required.
  • Once we have finalised the number of images/pages and you are happy to proceed, I will send you an invoice for a £100 deposit (the remaining balance is due once the album gets ordered and goes into production).
  • Next I will create an album design and send you a link to proof the album which is very easy and straightforward due to the amazing album software that I use. At this point you request changes to your image selection and the layout that I have created.
  • Once you are happy with the final design, you will need to decide on the cover material and any embossing you might want.
  • Once we have finalised all the details for the inside as well as the outside of the album, I can order the album. This is also the point where you need to decide whether you want to order any duplicate copies or parent albums. A duplicate copy is an identical copy of the album you have ordered. A parent album is a smaller copy of the album we made; it has the same images and layouts, but is smaller and can have a different cover fabric. Once you have decided on that, you will have to pay the final balance. Once this is paid, the album(s) will go into production and sent to your home address. The production process usually takes around three weeks.
