This Saturday everybody remembers. It was the only (Satur-) day in July we had hideous amounts of rain. Thankfully only for the first half of the day though – I have never been so glad to see the weather forecast being incorrect!
When I arrived at Chrissy’s house in the morning, the sky was back and the rain dense. The bride to be and her family stayed fairly relaxed about these unchangeable circumstances and magically pulled out ten white umbrellas. My second shooter Agne, who covered the boy’s preparations found them in equally good spirits. The rain was pounding on the roof of Kingswood Chapel during the wedding ceremony but magically stopped and turned into the most glorious sunshine the moment the couple emerged from the Chapel for their confetti shot. The rest of the day everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting of the nearby Summerhill Mansion and everyone agreed, the day couldn’t have turned out more perfect!
