I will be photographing Georgia and Igor’s wedding this October and both as a celebration as well as to document their love for each other we had a lot of fun taking some engagement portraits in beautiful Bath last weekend. A lot of people wonder what engagement portraits are for and deem them unnecessary. If you asked any couple however who has done an engagement shoot prior to their wedding, they will tell you what an excellent chance it is to get to know your photographer, see how they work, how they direct you and what the outcome is. It is also a chance to create some photographs that can potentially be used for a save-the-date card. Engagement portraits can be taken at the location you proposed, at a place that means a lot to you or even at the wedding venue.
