Wow, we love the photos! Really enjoyed looking through them and remembering our day.
I was very excited about this wedding as it was in many ways a first. Firstly I have not photographed a wedding ceremony in St Saviours in Larkhall before and – wow! – did this church not disappoint! And the priest started his sermon with a set of pretty funny jokes, who would have expected that. Secondly Grace and Tim celebrated at beautiful Priston Mill (in the water mill) so that ticked all the boxes for a fabulous and well organised wedding venue. Grace looked stunning, we took one of the best bride/groom/bridesmaids/ushers shots to date (the jumping shot, look at the faces) and the groom had a gun put to his head at some point. I did not get bored! Congratulations Grace & Tim!

This was another one of my favourite weddings last summer, the wonderful day that Sheryl and Cornelius got married at Berwick Lodge in Bristol! I met Sheryl through a wedding planner that I had met at a wedding fair and it was quickly apparent how well we got on and that we were (also) a great match – Cornelius is German like me and therefore a bilingual photographer was a must have.
I met up with Sheryl in the morning while she had her hair done at a local hair dresser. When then returned to Berwick Lodge where both her and Cornelius got ready, in separate locations of course. The ceremony was emotional, the drinks reception full of magic from a very charming young magician, the speeches outstanding and whitty and the evening filled with music and candy and photo booths and freshly drawn caricatures – wedding bliss!!

The pictures are perfect in every way… more than we ever could have hoped for!
How to start writing about Kate and James’ spring wedding at Priston Mill? I have so many beautiful memories from that day. The most moving aspect was how Kate’s dad, who dad died many years ago, was such an important part of this wedding. He was remembered in so many ways and details, he would have been proud. Many tears were shed but many more laughters were laughed and life & love was celebrated to the maximum.
I had met Kate and James a very long time before this wedding so when the day came and spring showed itself from its best side with beautiful sunshine and dramatic clouds, everyone couldn’t have been happier. The ceremony was a very happy, the speeches emotional but also very funny and the venue was just beautiful! I had fun with two little penguins (Kate’s favourite bird – did you know they mate for life?) and the wedding rings and we took some lovely portraits with the rolling hills in it. Now enjoy this rather large selection of photographs from beautiful Priston Mill.

Serine & Harry came all the way from Singapore to spent some time in London and Bath. As they are getting married in Malaysia this spring, they got in touch with me for some engagement portraits that incorporated many of Bath’s beautiful sights. To make things easy I picked them up from their hotel and we drove to the Circus, the Royal Crescent, the Holburne Museum, Alexadra Park and Sham Castle. It was a sunny, but very cold day and poor Serine was putting on a brave face, wearing only a thin white dress. And while driving around from location to location we realised that I spent years working with Serine’s flatmate’s friend Jerry back in London – the world is so small sometimes!

Ali and Luke chose a sunny day end of August to get married at the beautiful Kingscote Barn near Tetbury. Kingscote Barn is one of those venues that has and offers it all: you can get ready close by, have both the ceremony and reception in the same place, the food is great, the service fast and the place is set in the most photogenic countryside.
I joined Ali early in the morning while she was getting ready in a cottage just a few minutes down the road. Ali is very organised so everything was in place and on time which is great! After she was done I went to see Luke and the boys. Poor Luke was so nervous but was soon distracted by his surprise back from the future car.
The ceremony was emotional – I love that moment when the bride steps into the room, the groom turns around and BAM that’s the moment they have both been waiting for for a very long time and nothing else counts but the moment.
Ali suggested to me to drive up to the field with the hay bales for some of the portraits which turned out to be an excellent idea as the sky was dark with rain clouds rolling in but the sun was still shining onto the two of them. The drinks reception as followed by a three course meal, speeches that were again very emotion (’emotional avalanches’), great dancing and some amazing outdoor shots in the dark.
